Rookie boyband Infinite started out as a promising, fresh breath of air to the increasingly stagnant KPOP scene. In fact, up until recently the septet were considered up and coming superstarts with a bright future just up ahead; however, their success seems to have come to an abrupt halt with the release of their most recent song (The Chaser). The most obvious explanation would be that it's nothing more than a thoughtless rehash of their previous title tracks, in an lazy attempt to satiate rabid fangirls. But I, Tay Symone, international injustice investigative journalist, felt there was more to the story than their #27 position on the realtime charts was telling me. Upon dwelving into Infinite's vast array of professional follies, I came across a poorly concealed secret. Cultural appropriation, racial fetishization, and countless damaging remarks reducing the entire Black community to nothing more than a couple of movies directed by Chris Stokes with B2K having top billing.
